Who is Petra - Petra Alders

PETRA ALDERS

My favorite quote is: ‘if you never try you’ll never know’. And I’ve always tried to live this way.

At 21, I graduated as a midwife. Seeing a new life being born is one of the most beautiful things that exist. Very cliché but very much true. Witnessing the strength that a child is born with, it’s equally as strong!

Since 1998 I’ve been working for Doctors without Borders (Médecins sans Frontières) as I wanted to work where people needed it the most.  After served on missions in Africa, Asia and South America, I returned to Belgium in 2009.

After a burn-out in 2013, my life turned 180 degrees. From “HELP Now What?” To “I know now what I want to do …”

It was then, that I discovered that I have more than one dream in my life; that I have unfolded talents, and that my way of thinking, does determine my results (… I had some work to do…)

I learned that the urge ‘ to go and work where the need is highest”, has several meanings in life.

Therefore, I have made it my mission to guide people on their path of personal growth, out of their burn-out and from within their strengths. Step by step. Because I know there’s so much more waiting for you, there are so many more possibilities for you than you can even imagine right now. It’s already in you, it just has to come out!

I do this through individual coaching, by giving workshops and mastermind trainings, by working with organizations tailored to their needs.

It is a privileged position for me, to hold people’s  highest vision, to support them from the sideline, and to see how they discover their true potential! This is new life as well!
